The DVA Reinsurance Department was established in 1998 and has a successful track record in placing reinsurance business in the reinsurance market.

As an independent broker for facultative, proportional, and non-proportional reinsurance solutions, we are a valued business partner in the European market across the traditional lines of insurance.

Our activities began with the placement of large insurance programs for our parent company, Deutsche Bahn AG, by transferring capacity to the reinsurance market on a facultative basis. To this day, Deutsche Bahn AG and its affiliated group companies remain our core business and are regarded by the reinsurance market as attractive and sustainable partners.

Our business partners benefit from our many years of expertise in the railway sector. Naturally, we also make our know-how available for risks outside the Deutsche Bahn Group. We see ourselves as a service provider for the reinsurance business.
